Afrobeat star David Adeleke, better known as Davido, and his longtime partner, Chioma Rowland, celebrated their much-anticipated wedding in Lagos on Tuesday. This high-profile marriage has captured the public's attention and will remain a hot topic for some time.

In a video clip posted online, the thrilled musician was heard expressing his satisfaction with the choice to marry his sweetheart.

"I feel wonderful. My life's greatest day is now. It's a wonderful day. The short clip features Davido saying, "We are here to receive our wife."

Lagos State hosted the wedding, which drew dignitaries such as governors, prominent traditional rulers, and celebrities, among others. On Tuesday, the event became the most trending event in the nation.

After All Setbacks

The exhaustive guest list added charm and prestige to Davido and Chioma's spectacular celebration.

That same year reports that Chioma was expecting a child made headlines; however, the story was later refuted. However, they welcomed a child in October, whom they called Ifeanyi.

But just after turning three in November 2022, the child passed away in a house accident.

Following rumors, the Grammy nominee and Chioma had a set of twins in October 2023. As soon as a video of the parents leaving a hospital with their infants went viral, fans, celebrities, and well-wishers congratulated them.
